This connection utilizes the computer software to send data (e-mail, messages, data) to another PC (connected in a network) or other mobile phone numbers. The transmission speed is 9600 bps (modem adopts this speed to computer data speed).
 
Furthermore, mobile phones can get connected to a FAX machine. AMC network will support data transmission between mobile and fix terminals with a speed of up to 9600 bps.
